Once the vehicle is parked on the platform or over the pit the washing process can begin.

Setting up the system couldn’t be easier. A hot water generator (optional), high-pressure pumps and a detergent application system are all operated from a single control consol.

The control console has three variable wash programs and six vehicle length settings as standard. Once the appropriate program and length of vehicle is selected, pressing the start button begins the cleaning process.

The first operation is to apply the chemical or foam detergent to the vehicle’s chassis. The detergent application system is completely adjustable.

Once the carriage reaches the rear of the vehicle, it automatically reverses back to the front.

The vehicle can be left for the couple of minutes for the foam to take action or the hot water washing process can start immediately.

When the heads start to rotate, the water is fed through and once again the carriage begins its automatic cycle, traveling the length of the vehicle.

The heads are fully adjustable in their height, angle of jet and their rotation speed, allowing them to be correctly positioned to clean the widest possible range of vehicles.

Another additional useful feature is the hand held remote control positioned on the side of the wash. This control gives an operator the ability to position the carriage in a particular area and to traverse the carriage back and forth.

Once the automatic washing is complete, a quick check of the vehicle can be made. If there are any small detailing jobs to be done, these are taken care of with the hand lance.

Vehicles with low ground clearance are best cleaned with the pit version of the Automatic Chassis Washer.

The carriage is even fitted with its own wash down system, which quickly clears the pit of oil, dirt and debris.

The wash water can be directed straight to an existing drainage system or dealt with through an above ground water recycling plant that removes all traces of chemical, grease and oil whilst returning approximately 80% of the water for re-use.
